I would cast my vote for the unbelievable Pride Heavyweight Champ Fedor Emelianko. This guy can do it all! Ground and pound, Submissions, Strike from his feet, Great conditioning, take a brutal shot to the chops or body. What a complete fighter!

I really like Fedor, but I'm a little bias, I gotta go with Hughes.

Hughes is my choice at the moment, but in the old day's, always looked forward to a Tank Abbott whupazz.

Fedor, no doubt. The way he took that brutal throw from Randleman, and then submitted him 30 seconds later was awesome.

Fedor is fantastic from what ive seen. I really like Franklin at this point and think he has the "best in the world" potential if he can recover from the injury and stay on top. I didnt believe until after the Franklin/Loiseau fight. I thought Rich was gonna be in trouble but he beat that man down all day with a broken hand.

Matt Hughes and Rich Franklin are terrific but Fedor is from another planet! By the way when was the last time Tank Abbott whupped up on anyone? He has had his clock cleaned in his last 5 fights that meant anything. Tank is good in a bar fight but he is not an MMA fighter in this day and age!

It can only be Fedor. Hughes is good but not nearly as complete. Fedor has brutal, punishing standup with strong takedown defense, submissions, power, and caveman strength. He also looks like he's got three or four screws loose, and the empty, careless, almost dead look in his eyes is much, much more intimidating than any staredown.

Gamberro, That's the best description of Fedor's gaze that I have heard of yet. That is very well put. He is a unique individual as far as fighters go. A controlled expressionless pyscho! I love it. LOL

Im gonna have to say Me. I kill everyone on the x-box so I have got to believe that those skills transfer into real life right.

Absolutely! Ugly why don't you test this theory out over the weekend? Have a few beers/shots in your favorite bar and look for any wiseguy then take him down on the dance floor and see what happens! I got your back buddy!

Im sure, waaaaaaaay back right. Ive done that bar thing a few times and ive found it never the wise guy that gives me trouble it his five friends kicking me in the head that give me the trouble. I will tell you when many of your family members are HA's then wise guys dont ever really bother you. ;D

Hughes needs to avenge his 2 losses from hallman and one loss from bj penn. Hallmann has his number.

Satiev, Hallman had Hughes number. Matt has improved by leaps and bounds since those two fought both those fights. Hughes would now give Hallman a serious beatdown! I agree that he has to go head to head with Penn again to right that shocking loss!

bambam, agreed Tank is old school and has not been a factor at the late stages of his career. UFC/MMA has evolved over the last few years. Simply noted that I enjoyed his brute force style in the old days.
