I see it the presidency being decided now between Matt and Hillary. I wouldn't be surprised if Matt won the whole thing. He's ultra conservative, has a good looking wife, and has a fresh face that appeals to the American public. He's also supposedly tough on terrorism which grabs everyone's attention. I see the whole midwest going to him, just like it did to Bush. Past elections have shown that Americans don't make their decision based on how qualified an opponent is, but rather on public image and strong beliefs.

I don't totally fault the people for that. While they do have some responsibility for their vote, hundreds of millions are spent to persuade them to one view or another. While most people are just trying to get on with the business of life, and make a responsible choice on top of that, there are a small number whose full-time job is just to convince you how to vote (to market ideas). Even if you sense the overall message is bs, something they want you to think may get through. Remember the Swift Boat campaign (veterans disparaging a veteran)? I would think any idiot would see through that but, no, it apparently had an effect.

I don't either, just pointing out the facts. If you look throughout the modern era of presidents, they've all had a certain look. They've all been tall, had great hair, and a strong agressive policy. Edwards lacks the agression. He's like a mother theresea type character. Nixon, Kennedy, Clinton, both Bush's, and now Rommney. They all have the same image and are all agressive in terms of foreign policy.
