If he becomes President, he should thank Osama bin Laden for 9/11.
A moral man would not run on a popularity that is based on tragedy.

Why would he run away from what he did after 9/11? It's a fine line, but I don't feel that he is exploiting tragedy at all.
If you lefties are going to blame politicians for 9/11 (Bush), then you should be able to give credit for politicians who excelled.

How did he excell? The only reason he is famous is because of the attack itself.
Were any victims saved in WTC? No. Did a lot of firefighters die needlessly? Yes
Great job Rudy!

Guiliani cleaned up the city of NY far before 9/11. Enemies of RG will villify him for perceived flaws during the WTC disaster. Friends of RG will recall otherwise.
At least he has a record to run on.

Even Ciuliani's children don't like him.

How about his corrupted police chief that he tried to promote for Homeland security job? That guy had an illegal immigrant as the babysitter.

"Were any victims saved in WTC? No. Did a lot of firefighters die needlessly? Yes"
In the context of what you have written, it sounds like you are blaming the firemens' deaths on Guiliani.
A buddy of Chavez would never do something like that.

No, Steve. I am just saying Giuliani didn't do anything special. I was a block away on 9/11 and everyone was in complete disarray up until the buildings collapsed.

OK. Thank's for clarifying.
Bill Moyer feels as you do.

"A moral man would not run on a popularity that is based on tragedy."
That's actually a very large part of the history of politics, everywhere.

I have NO idea what your point here is other than trying to build back up your POST base... you wouldn't be trying to do that would you BIG?
