There's no better way to invoke fear in America than do it through entertainment and hollywood. I'd like to make a motion that you two (and you know who you are) are not allowed to post comments on this movie UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY SEE IT. The film in no way tries to invoke fear. It's more of pep rally to defend freedom than anything else. Now go see the movie and we can talk. (Big, you can probably get a bootleg on the streets for >$5)

I thought the argument of a conspiracy between Zach Snyder, Frank Miller, Gerard Butler, and George W. Bush to incite fear, and anti-Iranian sentiment as an attempt to rally America for Bush's coming war with Iran had already been offered up to them, and denied? Oh well, round, and round we go.

Actually the Persian victories far out numbered the Greek victories in the wars. The Greeks just won the battles that counted. Persia already held most of northern Greece. Conquering Sparta, Athens, and Corinth was needed to control the whole which the Persians failed to do.

Some Americans would take the film personally. Others like Jensen and you will interpret it differently.

In no way, shape or form does this movie intend to invoke fear.
If you see the movie....you will realize how ridiculous you are sounding.
You are basing your entire argument on assumptions, as usual.

i think the arguement is more of a reinforcement of the idea of western superiorrity against eastern aggresors.
