If Gore runs he could be hell of a candidate. Gore stands by what he believes in and dosen't flip flop. In 1992 he wrote a book about the danger of global warming and everyone called him a wacko. He was the leading democrat politican who opposed the Iraq war. Everyone distanced themselves from gore, but it turns out he was right. I think Gore has a good chance if he runs.

Too many free negative soundbites in the public conciousness for him to overcome. A fresh candidate is the most effective strategy in modern politics.

If the election were today, I would vote for Gore over Hillary or Obama.
Then again, I always seem to vote for the losers.

Gore had his day. He has made his bones by being up front with the issue which will consume humanity for the next few decades. His historical resume, and well thought of, and his historical legacy better, than the person who was elected President over him. If it comes to pass..... then that would be ironic in the most historically significant way.
