Besides, comparing Gore to the average american is pointless. Gore is a powerful man and obvioulsy has more rights than the average American. The same applies to Bush and all politicans.

he preaches to the middle class to curb their SUVs and use candles and shit while he sits in his mansion and private jets wasting more energy than the average american would waste in a lifetime!
The hypocrisy sticks like week old fish!! UGHH!!
Grownups really DO vote republican!

In order for Gore to preach his message, he would need to use private jets. Gore is a rich man, he can buy big mansions. What should he do, live in a studio? It is pointless to compare Gore with you and me. I'm not saying that Gore really cares about the environement. He may and he may not. I don't know for sure. But, we shouldn't judge him based on how much energy his house uses. Fox and CNN are all biased news stations that hate Gore.

It's not like he's preaching a message about a severe, imminent threat, and that's the irony: we are raising a degree every hundred years (which fluctuates - remember the "ice-age" hysteria from the 70's?!) so if he believed in his cause he would take his message on the commercial coach planes to the university circuit - not a gas guzzling private jet for his noble convienience. Think about you fuckwad. Gore message is, "do as I say, not as I do." You should not trust him. He is an attention whore, i.e. the Oscars.

Right, let's continue to deny global warming. Is the average person traveling around the world spreading awareness on the environment? If they did, they would certainly use a lot of energy. Every single politican uses private jets by the way. This is my point. He travels around the world raising awareness. No politician or former politician travels in a coach plane. You know that very well.

Except Al Bore, who doesn't give a fuck and still doesn't put his money where his mouth is as he CONTINUES to take private jets and gigantic energy guzzling mansions to satisfy his convienience in the hypocritical face of the very themes in which he preaches. It is a joke and if you can't grasp this, you a a stupid commie sheep! hehe

Gore should probably park his plane and haul his fat butt off to the salad bar for now. Just say two words Al - I'm full.

"Uh, I think everyone is pretty much aware of the left's talking points on the environment, no one needs to "spread awareness". " -being aware of talking points and being aware of the problem are two different things, and it isn't just the left who realize this is a problem. Also, it appears that Al isn't as much of a hypocrite as many on the right would like: www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17382210/

Again, economics plays into this - as the demand for electricity/gas increases, the price increases as well. Lower income people then have to pay higher prices for their energy, regardless of whether Fat Al purchased esoteric offsets in emerging technologies. Gore lives like a king, sucking up as much energy as he wants for his mansion, writes some checks to offset his usage, and then tells everyone else to conserve engergy. That's not hyprocritical? FWIW, I think that Gore (or anyone else) should be able to use as much electricity and gas as necessary, without fear of reprisal. Gore brought this all on himself, with his sanctimonious posturing about conserving energy.
