Wah, wah, what happens to this board? The new name is tough to remember. How is the new board better?
Thanks!

I'll leave this board up, but eventually we're going to move on to the new place. It has the capacity to handle many more people, along with other things.
The new name will only stay hard to remember for a little while. I've asked rstrong to hold off for a little while before transferring thematforum.com to the new site so people aren't completely surprised by it.

I don't like that forum software, the messages are too long, only two per page and I have a 19" screen.

The new boss, is he ok with Anti-American talk? You can keep being your regular charming self. He doesn't plan on interfering in the moderation. Thats still going to be me, and maybe a few others depending on how much the place eventually grows.. Lies, not really sure what you mean. I think you'd probably be best served registering, and posting your problem there. Schlottke is a lot better with this stuff than I am.

For those that are having problems with "remembering" beta.thematforum.com should work for now before we go completely live with it.

The change is definitely going to be a little challenging for everyone, and I don't pretend to know everything about what you guys want as a community. The best way to do this is to ask for things to be changed- the new software is very versatile and can be molded to fit just about any reasonable request. The address for the site will still be www.thematforum.com , for the time being (roughly 48 hours) the site can be accessed by visiting beta.thematforum.com . We will transfer your user information over if you request it, be patient though, as it will be fairly time consuming to do several hundred updates. In the long run, you will see a lot more customizations and be part of the first wrestling forum to use such a significantly better software title.

I don't like how the user info on a post is posted horizontally. I like it how it is here, on the side, vertically. When it is done horizontally, it takes up more space on the screen.

I feel the same way Lies, we're looking into fixing that.

Do we need to do anything - change our bookmark, re-register, etc. or is the change going to be automatic?

Do we need to do anything - change our bookmark, re-register, etc. or is the change going to be automatic? I believe your existing bookmark will take you to the new site once they close this one. You will need to re-register. All of your old data, posts count and karma shall follow for all the rest of the days of your life. You may need to give them the site of your avatar.
