Somewhere, Dennis Miller is thinking of an alegorical comment that few people can quite grasp.

Good riddance to Theismann. Jaworski will do much better. They ought to get rid of Kornheiser and have Tirico, Jaworski, and Vermeil in the booth.

I thought Theismann, McGuire, and Patrick had a great chemistry that worked, no matter how many times McGuire said, "Well, let me tell you..." (or whatever it was he always said). So I was disappointed that they busted up this group.

Theismann was my least favorite of the crew, and I didn't mind Kornheiser. My biggest complaint last year was the Sunday Countdown show on ESPN when they pulled Steve Young out of the studio part of the show and had him doing that "young is restless" feature. With Jaworski gone as one of the main 4 at the desk, that leaves Chris Berman, Tom Jackson, Emmitt Smith, and .... I haven't heard anything since they announced Emmitt would be basically replacing Michael Irvin, and Bill Parcells will be on the Monday night countdown show.

I agree with Flop, Jaworski will do much better. I'm kind of indifferent on Kornheiser, but him going certainly wouldn't break my heart either.
