for my Russian impaired friends: 66 kg 1. Ramazan Shakhin ((TUR) Well this one (a Chechen of Hasavyurt) is the recent product in the Russian wrestling export. Until August 2006 when he got Turkish citizenship and a new name, his name was Ramazan Arbaikhanov. Placed at several good tournaments; short before leaving for Turkey he won the Aliev tournament in Mahachkala. A month ago he won the Turkish nationals, yesterday - Yashar Dogu. Obviously he will represent Turkey at the European championships in April.

Bichinashvili changed Georgia > Ukraine > Germany. Before getting the German citizenship in 2003, he wrestled almost 5 years in the German wrestling league.

Ramazan Irbaihanov/Shahin moved to Turkey together with another Chechen wrestler – Surhab Hiziev who in 2005 had placed 2nd at 55 at Yarygin. Also he got the Turkish citizenship and a new name: Surhab Atalay. He is a good wrestler and I wondered that I didn't see his name among the medalist at Yashar Dogu. I stumbled on this photo aafoto.anadoluajansi.com.tr/popUp.do?arcId=644592 There are no names in the text below but I am sure the guys are Surhab Hiziev/Atalay & Hidenori Taoka who eventually placed second. The new Turkish wrestler seems to have been pinned and then have lost another match (because he is not 3rd).

David Bichinashvili, the Georgian export to Germany mentioned above, beat the silver medalist of 2007 Yarygin, Anzor Boltukaev, 3:1, 2:0 on his way to the finals of Yashar Dogu. At the European next month in Sofia, he could face also the gold medalist of 2007 Yarygin – Georgij Ketoev. Compare them: img257.imageshack.us/img257/417/davidketoevkp2.jpg I wonder who will tan the hide of the other. I mean this also in the literal sense of the words – Who will pull off the wool of the other?

I read what he said after winning Yarygin. Big talk! I don't think he can beat Sajidov.
