Dreamy created a handle “Dreamy”, made a post or two and headed to Jamaica. She gets $hit faced there and forgets she made an account here. Comes back and wonders who took her name. Finally decides to create a new handle “Dreamyone”. Am I correct? Are Dreamy and Dreamyone the same person before and after Jamaica?

Yes..that would be correct Big .... funny Jamaica story.....the Jamaicans, who are not the marrying kind of people I guess, think that Clinton was a PIMP because he was married and had a girl on the side LOL. However, they definitely do not like Bush because gas is over $4 a gallon there ( they actually sell it by liter) and these people only make like, 2 or 3 bucks and hour. I did ask how much a loaf of bread was...they said $2 USD. And get this....sales tax is 16.5%...they blame Bush LOL

I was a bit confused, but I'm glad to see both of them here.

Yes, I now have it on good authority that Dreamyone is our sister formerly known as Dreamy on that other forum, and Dreamy is a charlatan riding on the coattails of her good name.

Please tell me you are not that ignorant with regard to the gas prices. As if Bush, or any prez for that matter, can get on the phone and say, "lower gas prices!". C'mon, grow up. Be big boys and girls and actually learn politics. Charging the highest price the market will bear is what some people call "capitalism". Europeans have been paying six dollars a gallon for YEARS... Anyway, higher gas prices decrease greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, congested traffic, accidents, and its associated risks! Agree? The hypocrisy is blinding... Dreamy, don't bring a an M-16 mounted to a 1987 Datsun truck to a tank fight. A wise man once said that. High gas prices prevent urban sprawl, promote energy conservation and public transport, and will ultimately encourage alternative fuels, WHEN THE PUBLIC IS READY TO STOP PAYING FOR THE PRICES................

Lefty,
You are sadly mistaken! Bush is responsible for high gas prices because he is the one who promotes tax cuts (mostly for the rich) and global free trade. This way many other countries lure American businessmen (like China) and begin developing various goods to sell in America. Now, all this looks good in theory but all this development in other countries raises oil consumption and prices on oil increase.
Basically, you end up with lots of goods like clothes and domestic supplies from countries like China and India but gas prices rise as well.
However, gas prices are not the only things that rise. Foods prices and many other commodities rise in price as well because they have to be delivered by trucks that use oil as fuel and kept refrigerated.
So, yes the President of USA has a huge role in ultimate oil prices through free trade and tax cuts.
