No thanks! I'll take the frigid winters in Chicagoland over your summers anyday. You can always put more clothes on, but there's only so many you can take off.

sgallan: Visited my Son in Chandler 9/10 days ago, went golfing at 6:30 AM, sweating like a dog by 7:30. But the summer green fees were nice, $21.00 for 18 plus a cart.

I usually walk the dogs sometime between 6-7 and even then it is still warm. It's next to a canal so the dogs stay cool. We are actually 3-5 degrees warmer than Phoenix metro. Lake Havasu is a couple degrees warmer than Parker..... about the same as where you are at.

It's a different kind of heat.
115 is still 115 no matter how you slice it.

Last week I finally got central air conditioning in the house, so here it's always 72 and dry.

95 right now in Wichita, and then the fun part, storms tonight. Until you have experienced a summer storm in Kansas you haven't likely experienced a storm.

90 is extremely hot here. But the trees are pumping out O2 like crazy and go a mile in any direction and there is a lake to cool off in. Eat your hearts out!!! Then there is winter.....lots of it. Coldest that I"ve seen is -54 true and in the -80s windchill. And it is absolutely true that at those temps, you spit and ice heats the ground.......unless you are really short like BigJohn
