This fight go's down this Saturday for the Welterweight Championship. Gatti a fan favorite because he has no fear of mixing it up when he needs to go's up against a naturally bigger fighter who happens to be the defending Champ. Who is going to have his hand raised at the end of this war? I look for Gatti in a unanimous Decision.

I'm thinking Gatti by knockout within six rounds. Baldomir beat an over the hill Zab Judah, but that's about it. Baldomir is just the right guy for Gatti to fight, because he's not very slick. He should be right there for Gatti to hit, at will.

Gotta hand it to Gatti, he is never boring. Those two guys ate a lot of punches. I'm hoping Gatti will retire now.

Gatti just bit off more then he could chew in this fight. Baldamir pummeled Gatti with wicked right hands that busted up Gatti and just put him away in the 9th round via TKO. Gatti bumped up from 140 to 147 and learned the hard way that his punches had no effect at all on the bigger Baldamir. Gatti now had been destroyed by Mayweather and Baldamir and I feel as does Mooser that it's time to hang up the gloves! Arturo Gatti has given us tremendous excitement over the years but he needs to retire now so he can save what ever mind he still has left!

LOL. I won 100 bucks from my brother. There was no way gatti was gonna win this fight. His boxing skills suck. His only chance was a ko but baldomir has super chin. One of the worst beatings i saw. The reason i chose baldomir was because he beat judah who had a similar style with mayweather and mayweather demolished gotti. Also judah gave mayweather problems.

Satiev1, That was a good call on your part. Baldamir surprised me with his skills. I though his fight with Judah might have been a fluke. I was very wrong!

Didn't see the fight, but I have to ask...how did Gatti's face look after the fight ended? He bleeds when the wind blows LOL

dreamyone, Gatti's face was very puffy even through all his scar tissue. He was cut under the right eye which looked nasty but they had it under control. I love Gatti but he was manhandled!
Yeah!! Bling Bling is back! I love it! Thanks Dreamy! I'm going to exalt you for your effort!

Baldamir lumped him up. Gatti was a real class act after the fight though.

The reason i chose baldomir was because he beat judah who had a similar style with mayweather and mayweather demolished gotti. Also judah gave mayweather problems. Judah didn't give Mayweather any problems - Mayweather pretty much won every round. I wish you would have posted your prediction before the fight. You would have been one of the few people anywhere, including the boxing press, to pick Baldomir. Bouncing up a weight class was too much for Gatti. He didn't have any problem hitting Baldy, but his punches didn't have the same effect at the higher weight.

Well it wasn't that huge an upset. I bet on Baldomir at +160 and also had that it would not go 12 rounds. This makes me 2 for 6 on boxing matches for the year. I'd be doing much better if I just took bambam's suggestions on each fight.
