FWIW..... Sesker no longer seems to have any influence of themat forums. I tend to think that little "experiment/power play" floundered badly. There is little to no moderation anymore; nor is there an attempt at it. Sadly, as a result of that fiasco..... posters like Denny, Lewboo, Personal, a ton of posters here no longer post there. At least not seriously. It is no longer a place to get "insider" information.
Some of the people who left are big time players in the sport. By chasing them off the board lost "wrestling" credibility. Sesker - even given his cronynism credentials - had to be knocked down a notch given it may have annoyed other big timer doner/supporters.

too many good posters have left or only post occasionally. i hardly post there anymore. only recently with the Mocco thread and a little with the Angle thread (against my better judgment). don't really go anywhere near the NWT forum like i used to. at times i would spend full days on the NWT forum.
i didn't even make to anyone's favorite poster list (except you Scott). not that i give a shit but 2 years ago i was mentioned on almost everyone's list. someone even wrote something like "i remember his handle."
i have over 4000 posts on that thing.
this board is where it's at. unfortunately International wrestling sucks the big one these days and i'm really turned off. my lack of posts reflect this frustration.

I would be eager to hear if TheMat forum censorship fiasco truly hurt USA Wrestling membership and participation.
I would doubt the organization would be forthcoming with that information.
It's terrible what happened. A vital forum for sharing information and exchanging ideas has been pretty much trashed, thanks to terrible mismanagement on the part of powerful individuals within the organization who failed to see the big picture.
On the other hand, this forum has emerged as THE place to have serious, thoughtful discussions in an environment that is for the most part supportive. Hats off to our Moderator!
