is obviously somewhere in the second level of the stands. Those jokers sitting way up there are usually the loudest in protesting referee calls. Obviously they have the best view. Why don't the refs put one of their own to call the match and only have one guy on the mat for safety?

ROTFLMAO! I umpired baseball for almost 30 years - from the little ankle-biters up to some Div 1 (JV) games. It always amazed me how the third base coaches, 90 feet up the the base line and at an angle, had a better view of the strike zone than I did from 5 feet away and directly behind. I will admit that there were times that I got caught out of position - and if a coach wanted to come out and ream my a$$ for being out of position, I would humbly (well, maybe not humbly) take it - admit I wasn't where I should have been, and vow to work harder. (That didn't change the call - but I figured I deserved the butt chewing.) If I was IN position and the coach wanted to dispute the call - he had three minutes (per game). When he started, I would look at my watch and tell him the clock was running. At the end of the three minutes (cumulative for all complaints) he was gone. Sure put an end to a lot of griping.

I can always spot it better from the stands or maybe at home on the tube. (I have the benefit of slow motion and instant replay.)IMHO
