Thought that might be the case. I worked in Rehab for mentally ill and abnormal psych counseling for awhile. My comment at The Mat was that while the military is a valid and worthy organization, there is a reason they have age restrictions. Essentially this man is making his son grow up way too fast. The kid, Pat McCaffrey, is a great wrestler, but this story looks an awful lot like Reversal, the movie happening all over again.

I think he is taking his patriotism a little to far I actually think it is unhealthy. I'm not sure if he is making him mentally tougher or if he is setting the kid up for mental problem down the road. It's sad really. Puts things in perspective my wife was worried I would push our son into wrestling. He is only 18 months old. I just want him to be healthy and happy.
