www.beastwrestling.com Anyway, the last I saw.....that Freshman from OK at 130 was in the quarterfinals against Robinson from PA. He had two impressive decisions and had pinned the 12 seed in the first period so far.

Heavyweight is a mess, the kid Rickards from Sussex Tech in the quarters, I pinned him two years ago in a dual meet. Seems as though he might have improved a little though.

Jensens with a little "I pinned that kid, so I must be able to win the Beast" talk!
I am just kidding...I am chuckling a little bit because I always pictured you Jensens as a lighter weight wrestler...guess I had you all wrong...that must be why you have some empathy for BIG.
I was just a little dude, I wrestled 119 my senior year in highschool and never wresteld competitively above 133...

I went 145/152/160-189/215-275
The heaviest I ever got my senior year was 195, I was LITTLE undersized. Part of the reason why I always had empathy for Kuhlman last year too.

NJ had 6, yes count them 6, champeens ! Two that I expected to win weren't in the mix, Blair's Shanaman and Russell, and 7 2nds. NJ had almost 50% of the slots in the finals. Aside from Blair, NJ sends 2 maybe 3 other teams to the Beast.
119 1st Fred Santaite (Northern Highlands) 125 1st Dan White (Peddie School) 135 1st Trevor Melde (Delbarton School) 140 1st Mario Mason (Blair Academy) 152 1st Luke Lanno (Southern Regional) 171 1st Corey Peltier (Blair Academy)
112 2nd Chris Villalonga (Blair Academy) 125 2nd John Trumbetti (St Joe Regional) 130 2nd Kellen Russell (Blair Academy) 135 2nd Max Shanaman (Blair Academy) 145 2nd Frank Molinaro (Southern Regional) 171 2nd Kyle Kiss (Ocean Township), 3:24 215 2nd Jared Platt (Blair Academy), 2-1 OT

I was inferring that NJ doesn't send many but the more they send they titles they take home. Northern Highlands, St. Joes and Ocean were first timers. Delbarton only sends partials. the top 2-3 guys.

NJ brought down 11 teams this year. St Joes was there last year. Delbarton only had 2 top guys to send, last year they had 3 top guys go. More on the team go, just to make it fair, srs. etc.

Yeah, Im positive Ocean was there too, I was down there last year and came home with an Ocean wrestling t-shirt...its the only place, besides states, that I would run into any Ocean wrestlers. I dont think the Beast is a tournament that just lets anyfirst time team just show up, dont the teams have to have ranked kids, or be invited down?
