We will find out this Saturday as Oak Park comes into Lakewood to dual (presumably) St Paris Graham, 3rd in the Ironman, and then St. Eds, Ironman champ. Since Oak Park and Graham are in the same pool of 4 teams they will dual. The winner should win the pool to face St Eds who should emerge from the 4 teams from the other pool.
Note if SPG beats Oak Park, they will face St. Eds. Most of the local "pundits" expect Oak Park to beat Graham and then have a real donnybrook with St. Eds.
A number one national team ranking is up for grabs.

Uh huh. Sure. The national number three team has a couple of good kids.
I smell something lying in the weeds here. BillyTickets projects the score between SPG and Oak Park at 28-28. On Saturday I'll be watching those "couple of good kids" that Oak Park has.

The day is here and the dawn is chilly. I am nervous and wonder what is in store for the Eds' fans.

these upper level high school teams are so deep with talent that they could fill out three varsity programs most likely that could get in to the state tournaments...its amazing how deeply these programs run and how early they are getting to the kids...Apple Valley in Minnesota does a great job with aligning their highschool program with the young wrestling programs by sending all of there wrestlers to go coach some of these teams in their offseason...i think it was one of the best experiences in wrestling that i have ever had...

It appears St. Paris Graham didn't get the memo that Oak Park travelled all the way to Cleveland to wrestle St. Edward. But, It is not to be as Graham upends Oak Pard 36-22 in one great high school wrestling event. If anyone has tapes of some of those matches they are in for a treat. At 119 Cordell Longsreath over Mac Bailey 12-7 in OT and at 145 Coby Boyd over Shane Nay, 4-3, were fantastic matches. A high level of wrestling throughout.
Now Eds will face Graham too early (they are scheduled for their own dual against each other next month).

Watch for a fall at HWT for Oak Park. I did and he did. But not against St. Paris whose Mr. Wall lost 4-1 to Mr. Madison. The pin came against Camden.
