Thanks for sharing this news, Shane. I know that the Hodge award has been around now for more than a decade, but I really can't pin down what the exact criteria is for determining a winner. It's not as if the recipient had the most pins or most wins. Perhaps it's based on generalized factors -- a "feeling" of the WIN magazine folks as to who was the best college wrestler that year. Sort of like the editors of People magazine sitting around in a conference room with beer and Cheetos, picking this year's "Sexiest Man Alive." (Which is their selection process.) I remember some controversy in the past when Nick Ackerman was co-winner (with Cael) in 2001... and when Emmitt Willson won in 2004, since neither was a Division I wrestler. Mark Cheetos and CHARDONNAY. I prefer the champag-ne of beers

2 of the guys who left 174 to avoid Ben.............are now national champs and they would not have been if they had not moved.
Hey, Bluestater..............congrats........you had a great team this year and the best wrestler in the country............and Pell was the most dangerous last weekend.
Hope this kind of makes up for my FIB jokes.....................NOT!!!!
