thanks BIG, we will still take it...after Northeast duals, the Gophers got really hot and ran off some pretty incredible streaks...the only wrestler that I continue to be disappointed in year in and year out is dretsch...ness did well this year and would do well at either 125 or 133 next year...a healthy reiter should be slated to do good things...rivera only gets one more shot so i am hoping j rob and company learn how to spell this kid towards the end of season so that he doesn't wear down...he looked really worn at the end...i think d.s. will come back with something to prove and even if he loses some matches next year i think you will see him invite some action in his matches...c.p. got his AA and I expect to see him improve on that next year...i have no idea whats going to happen at 165 and 174 but i see safratowich, stitch, glasser and dretsch having some great battles in the wrestling room to see who gets the nod next year...kish will be kish, we will see if he can close the gap or maybe even possibly move up leaving more room for the other four below him to come up to 184...it will be fun to watch the rs frosh battle for the starting nod at heavyweight...
heres to some exciting wrestling again next year...and to making sure that the team race again is competitive...

yeah, what did Lawrence say "be sure to lay bricks today so we can keep it exciting?" I got a call from some Takedown Club members at the tourny stating that JLaw (that is what we on the street call him ) called out the MN fans for not getting fired up Friday night. As most of you can attest, Friday night was not a banner time for our beloved Gophers (or Nickerson, Simmons..though expected, and others). It can be chalked up to a fired up staff member reacting to a less than exemplary round. All was fine and good come Saturday as we got the desired result and even got a much appreciated congrats from our good friend BIG.
