About the back points, it looked like 2 if the ref would have started counting immediately, but it looked like he was out of position. The fall looked good to me, whoever said Askren rolled through before it was even called was dead wrong.

it was definately a quick call, the ref started his count from the standing position. Now if Kessel had done so like he should have ......

pancake...the video is more damning then the photo...what cinched it for me was the way that Backes had Maskren's head pulled up giving at least the illusion of split second control...
