Drexel kid he beat at CAAs made AA. That kid got a wild card too. Wow! When was the last time a wild card from CAAs made AA?

We're excited for Ryan Hluschak- I heard he had a crazy match for 7th & 8th place.... One thing you can say about his matches- They are never boring!
Also very excited for Matt Kocher from Pittsburgh, a former high school teammate of Nathan's, who placed 5th @ 157!
157 was a crazy weight with tons of excellent matches... Looking forward to the Finals!
Also- Don Fisch had an excellent tournament, although, us Rider fans think he should be in the Finals tonight- he definitely made a name for himself for next year!
DartShark- Keep an eye of my girls tonight ;-) Keep them outta trouble, if possible!

Nathan transferred a semester too late IMO. He almost made AA.

Don't think i'll be seeing the members of Club Platinum ... Haven't seen them at all yet, and it's an hour until the finals.

Biggie Boy - Nathan was much closer the previous two years, making the R12 twice while at PSU. So I guess you were incorrect in your evaluation(shocking!), as this was his least favorable showing compared to the times he was at NCAA's while at PSU.
By the way, Rebmann was from Pen Argyl HS, Hlushak from Northern Lehigh HS, in Northampton and Lehigh Counties....in the great Lehigh Valley!

wew,
You are just mad because Penn State placed even lower than Iowa.

Butterball, I couldn't be happier! I was very happy with the effort and look forward to next year already! We return all placers(when Anspach gets his 6th year) and have a great recruiting class coming in. I never compare to other teams....that's for whiners and losers. I want the kids to do their best and fulfill their goals, on the mat and beyond. I was disappointed for James Yonushonis, but spoke with him and told him how much I appreciated his effort over the years. My only comment was a response to yours that Nathan had improved when he left PSU and was closer to AA. I've seen him wrestle for 5 years and was hoping he would do better, but he didn't beat a seeded kid(he did the last two years) and didn't reach the Round of 12(as he had done). Just step up to the plate and repeat after me(as you must have done so many times before)...."my name is butterball, and , once again, I was wrong!"
***Yes, DSP, they are both AA.....and Hluschak started his college career playing football at Lehigh! He missed wrestling so much that he went into the Lehigh rooom, but knew that he wouldn't get much mat time with Zinck at that weight...on to Drexel and he's an AA!!!

Anyone who has watched Nathan wrestle for the past few years would be able to see the difference that 8 weeks at Rider made for him. He went from rarely getting off bottom, to getting off bottom against everyone he wrestled, including Strouse, who is one of the best riders I've seen. Many PSU fans also complained of Nathan's ability to shoot- and I can tell you my brother has taken more shots at Rider than he probably did in a season at Penn State. It's nothing against Penn State, Nathan simply found a coaching staff that believed in his abilities and wanted to see him do well. Coach Taylor and Coach Hangey are excellent coaches, as well as the rest of the Rider staff. Nathan looks forward to receiving his Master's from Rider, as well as coaching for the Broncs next year!

Come on Big. Step up and be a man about it. I've met Elisa and believe me. You have zero chance with her. You can quit kissing up now.
