Jensens,
wondering if you could help me out... the 32 man bracket doesn't have the layout of how each round of championship side losers "cross" back into the consolation bracket. I am having a little bit of a brain fart now...

I just took one of the big brackets that have the guides on them, and am using that. Its tedious, but we all sacrifice in our strive to victory, eh?

So the losers of the second round (first round of 32 bracket) cross to the other side?

I'm mix and matching, thus far I've done 125, 133, 157, 174, and 285. I'm almost done with 165.

Sigh..... every year same thing..... no respect for Stith.... or the Pac-10 at that weight. Until you notice that a couple of them are in the finals.... and then it is, "what the heck". Now I know the Pac-10 is down this year. But not really at that weight. I don't see two in the finals this year, but I wouldn't be surprised to see one win it, and another placer.

Yes absolutely no respect for Stith. As you probably saw I'm picking him to finish 5th, losing to Henning who's been fantastic all year, only losing to Becker, and Paulson who's beaten him twice this year, yeah no respect at all. Stith is going to finish as a 3x AA, he's got all the respect in the world from me. On the other guys, from the Pac-10 all three are unseeded, and all three drew seeded guys. I'll give you that Zupancic has a shot against Martin, but Pami aint beating Poeta, and I don't think Sherfey is beating Strouse. Pac-10 is just down this year, they had a banner year last year, but the depth just isn't there.

A runner up and two time AA as 5th?? Sherfley who made the round of 12 last year, with great credentials at every stop in his career, not getting at least an AA look. I know the P10 is down, and Pami is still young, but this particular weight is a tough one in that conference..... and I betchya you will be shocked and awed just like last year. PS - The clinching factor that you don't think there is wrestling west of the Mississippi is stiffing Vasquez. ;D

I like Sherfey a lot, great agressive wrestler, but I'm really high on Strouse, then in the wrestlebacks I've got him going down to Seth Martin. Could he make a run all the way to the round of 12, knock out Stith who would be the guy he ran into in the course of my predictions and AA? Absolutely, but with no Stith AA'ing then you'd really be after me, make up your mind. And anway, how 'bout throw yours up here and I'll give it to you a little bit. I'm well aware of Vasquez and how good he is, but I'm also aware that he's been wildly inconsistent over the last two years, and I'm also aware that Headlee, and Keller (the guys I have beating him), are pretty good themselves. I I'm going to go create an alias that just picks Big 10, and Big 12 guys as AA's. Just to bother you...

I like the Jensens picks so far...very solid...i see Stith finishing between 3-6 this year.
ISU fan has all the usual suspects and certainly knows his stuff but I don't see Valenti finishing 5th. He's just too damn tough.
I would give you my picks but I am getting tired...Maybe top 3 later...

My picks are in the contest. I'll type them tommorrow. I was too lazy to break them down match by match in the consolations.
FWIW, I didn't really go out on a limb with any of my picks..... well except for the Askren brothers at sixth. Herbert 4th. Conrad at 5th. And Dustin at 7th. But other than those, my picks were pretty predictable. ;D

Funny thought just popped into my head..... I wonder how many people on the other board would have taken my last post seriously??
